The listing was originally for a regular cordless vacuum. It was later changed to a steam cleaner. Since the seller didn't make another listing for the new product the reviews & answers for the original product remained & can be confusing.I hope this helps. :)

You have to hold the trigger down all the time. It does supply constant steam though.
